It’s all about the COVID-19 pandemic these days.

Unless you have been in a coma you know that it has been 5 or 6 months since the Chinese virus began to shut down the world.

Yes, there are 3 things that I have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, no make it 4.

1. There are many people who are willing to sacrifice freedom for what they perceive will make their life safer. They don’t realize it does just the opposite.

They agree to shelter from the world, wear masks, and do what they are told without questioning the reasoning behind. They just assume that the people in charge know better.

When you relinquish your freedoms to the government, you lose more control of your safety because they steal your ability to make decisions that are best for their families and themselves to protect themselves.

Instead, they rely on other people to make those decisions.

Willingly allowing your freedoms to be taken so that you can feel a sense of security only leads to a further loss of control over your life.

This is not freedom; it is something far worse.

2. Evil people will use pandemics like COVID-19 and others to scare the weak into submission. All for what they want you to believe is a righteous cause.

When all they are doing you are leading you to seek protection that can’t be gained from sacrificing your freedom to choose for yourself.

You are witnessing this with the protests in American cities where people are destroying property claiming that it offends them.

Statues and buildings cannot offend, they are inanimate objects that represent the history and help to identify the things that were right and wrong in the history of past civilizations, involving men and women from all races.

Those that participate in these events are trying to rewrite history and when that happens you are destined to repeat the worst of it.

There are the groups that claim they are anti-fascist or some other ideology, but use the very methods that those they claim to be against, as a means to oppress the people that don’t agree with them.

Again, what they do is far worse than what they claim to be against.

3. Then there are people who expect to be given something for nothing. They believe that they deserve it because they exist.

Oh, they will claim it is because they have been oppressed or not given the opportunities, but the reality is, they never bothered to try.

These people gave up because it was too hard, or they didn’t have the money or education, or enough time.

Nothing but excuses to remove the blame for their own failures or lack of commitment to building the life they claim to want.

So they give away their freedom to another in hopes that it will make their lives safer.

Again, this just the opposite of what really happens. Instead, they become dependent on the handouts of those they have given away their freedom.

The ones that have taught them to believe they can’t succeed without the help they offer.

Again, this is far worse than what they were hoping for.

4. Finally, there are those that will do whatever it takes to be in control of their lives and their destinies. These are people that work hard and earn everything they have.

They always seem to find a way to make the best of every situation be it good or bad.

They are the winners in life.

By now, you should have identified with one of these groups.

Knowing human nature, I dare say you probably fit in one of the first three.

That is unfortunate, but you can change that in a moment when you decide that you are no longer willing to accept the status quo.

If you are happy with mediocre, then you are a lemming. A person that acts like you want something more, but when it means doing

something to get it, you walk away.

It’s too hard… I don’t have time… I don’t have the money… or proper education.

They are all excuses that you will hang your hat on.

I’ll be honest, taking control of your own destiny isn’t easy and it’s not cheap.

There is always a price to pay no matter which path you choose.

BUT… anything worth having is worth working for. Giving it your all even when you can’t see the light of day.

Just know this…

Very, very few have anything handed to them in life. White privilege is a bad hoax that others use to deflect their own inability to participate in life, or the control they intend to steal from you who are willing to accept their help for just giving up a little of your freedom.

There are those that have privilege, but they are not the average joes of the world.

They are the elitists that tell you that you can’t do it on your own. You can find them in governments, in the media, and in the technology companies that control what you see and hear.

They are the ones that offer you meager stipends that keep you groveling for a little more.

They are not your friends or your saviors. They are your worst enemies!

At this point, there is nothing that anyone can do to help you until you are willing to help yourself.

Life is a journey, it isn’t a stroll, it’s work.

You can choose to make the most of it or you can choose to just go with the flow like 95% or more of the world do now.

The lemmings… the mediocre… the poor slobs willing to accept crumbs rather than going for the brass ring that life offers. If only you are willing to try.

If you decide to find a way to take control of your own destiny, then go here and find out more how you can begin to control your future.
