30 Day Personal Challenge

I was reading an article yesterday about building your entrepreneurial skills and it really resonated with me.

I follow a few people that truly provide value and not just promotions.

Shane Melaugh the founder of Active Growth and Thrive Themes is one of those people.

Shane recently wrote an article Titled "Got Grit?"

He explains that there is an old cliche that we see all the time.

It's not about how often you fail, it's about how often you get back up again.

But is this really accurate and true? Yes, we need to get up and dust ourselves off when we have a setback...

But isn't it more about perseverance?

You see it's more about your ability to fight thru the setbacks and find the strength...

The GRIT to carry on.

I found the approach to be a perfect fit for my own situation.

So begins my personal 30 day challenge.

When we work to build something of our own, become an entrepreneur, we are on our own.  Isolated so to speak. So...

how do we maintain the motivation...

Avoid the setbacks and persevere?

When working with a team it's a bit easier, you have others to help and get renewed energy from.

As a Solopreneur you have to do this on your own.

For me, I was struggling to consistently produce content for my blog, and write emails to my followers.

This is the reason for my own personal challenge.  You have to know that when you are not communicating with the world, your readers and subscribers...

they forget about you almost overnight.

So, over the next 30 days I will be challenging myself to write a new blog post and at least one new email every day.  I am limiting the time to complete each task.

Basically, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone.
