I know that for many the idea of creating video for your business can be intimidating.
It doesn’t have to be…
I’ve been producing videos for my church for years. It’s one of those things that interested me and so I joined the video team.
One thing led to another and I started looking at how I could create my videos.
The problem was that I didn’t have the resources to go out and buy a fancy camera as I used in church.
This started my search online for ways I could make quality videos without spending hundreds of dollars.
What I found at first were courses that were great content, but you had to spend and spend to get all of the cameras, lighting, microphones, and accessories to make it work.
I know, you see people today taking video on smartphones…
most of those are poor to average quality and not what you want to use for business.
As I searched further, what I found and continue to find is amazing…
and most of it is free.
This got my attention and if you are like me, it will get your attention too.
Free Video Creation Presentation Tools
Free Video Creation Presentation ToolsI would like to share with you some of the resources for creating quality videos online for free.
Let’s start with the presentation tools that you can use. Here are a few that you can use for free, you don’t have to buy MS Office for this.
Google Slides – If you aren’t familiar with all the free tools that Google provides this is one that will take the place of MS Presentation or Apple Keynote.

Apache OpenOffice – this is an open-source complete Office solution. Inside you will find a Presentation program that you can use.

Beautiful AI – this is an online presentation creation tool. I just started using it, but so far I think it is the easiest to use. It provides lots of templates, pictures you can use and provides enough flexibility that you can create a professional presentation without having to be a techie. Check out the video to learn more.
As you can see there are options for building out a presentation that is easy to use and free. There are others, but these 3 should give you enough to work with to create video presentations.
Free Create Video Recording Tools
Now that we have reviewed a few tools that can be used to create presentations, let’s talk about recording tools.
I found a couple that is free and offers you enough functionality to get your videos produced and ready to use.
Screencast-O-Matic – I like this tool for recording presentations. There is a free version that will allow you to create short videos, up to about 5 minutes.
They also have a paid version is less than a coffee at Starbucks, and provides storage and additional functionality. The videos above were created using this tool.
Adobe Spark – you can create a video presentation right in Adobe Spark. With Adobe Spark you can create quality professional videos for free. There are of course limitations with the free version. The paid version offers much more for under $10 a month.
Animoto – This is a great video creation tool that allows you to create variations with photos and text. It’s a great tool for those short videos where you are trying to catch the viewers’ attention and provide value for a product or service you are promoting.
For about $5 a month on the annual plan, you can create videos that a professional video creator would be proud of. They even provide a call-to-action with the paid version.
There are plenty of other websites that are offering free versions of video and presentation creation. I found the ones listed here work well are easy to use and provide enough functionality to create professional-looking videos.
