The Secret to End Paralysis by Analysis

Are you stuck getting started?

Do you find yourself in continuous stop and go mode?

If this sounds like you, you are not alone. I can relate to your situation.

What Causes Paralysis by Analysis

I am a bit of a perfectionist and at times find myself deliberating over small details. Wanting everything to be just right, perfect if you can stop you dead in your tracks.

This has prevented people from getting those great ideas off the ground and going.

Think about it, you buy into a new program all excited and ready to make things happen. For the first few days, you are on fire and doing everything that the training is telling you to do.

Then something happens, you run into a snag. Something that you do not understand or cannot get to work or look right.

You scratch your head and start to search for an answer.

After a couple of hours or days, you finally get frustrated and start to question whether this is the right program or training for you.

Momentum

Distraction Destroys Momentum

One thing leads to another and you get distracted in your search.

The next thing you know you are reviewing another program that is telling you that the program is so drop-dead easy anyone can do it.

What happens next is you put what you were working on aside and start something new. Your thoughts are this program is going to get you going.

You just know it is the one you have been searching for…

The problem is that the cycle repeats over and over until finally, you are ready to just throw in the towel and give up.

Break the Pattern

Let me explain…

Because you want so bad to make your venture into an Internet marketing success, you figure in the back of your mind that you have to get it just right or it won’t work. This just isn’t the case.

More than likely, you are trying to make your website or offering mimic the program you are following. You want to make everything look and feel exactly like the person whose program you are following.

You know that if you can capture their essence, you are on your way to making something happen.

I’m here to tell you this just isn’t the case. It’s 180 out of aligning with the way you should be approaching your online business.

Yes, there is a lot to be said for following what others are doing. But when you do, you want to look at it as research and not the exact methods or look that you need to use.

Once you have done your homework, take notes on what you liked about the websites you review and things that you didn’t like.

You’ll find that there will be both good and bad on even the most popular websites. It’s important to understand that there are many different ways to accomplish the same thing.

Take all of this great information and draw out how you want your website or offer to look and feel.

Believe it or not, people will be attracted to you when you use your personality to shape your website, product, and content.

Not only that, but it’s also a whole lot easier to create content, build your website and products when you allow your creative juices to shape your Internet image.

So, stop worrying about being perfect, making sure you have all your ‘eyes’ dotted and ‘tees’ crossed. Just roll up your sleeves and start creating. You will have more fun in the process.

Summary:

  • You don’t need to be perfect to be successful
  • Avoid distractions, they only destroy momentum
  • Research your competition for ideas
  • Use your creative juices to build your brand
